The talent of artist, Pervis Evans, has been described as “refreshing,” “sophisticated,” “immediately engaging,” and “soothing to the soul.” The Texas native, with a musical upbringing in traditional gospel music, has developed a vocal quality that blends soulful, jazzy, classical, and contemporary elements of style and that crosses cultural and denominational barriers.
Pervis has rendered his God-given talents as a singer, songwriter, playwright, actor, and orator for countless worship services, productions, and events. In July 2014, Pervis released his debut CD project, Forever Worship. Produced by Joseph Toliver, this project included musical contributions from chart-topping smooth jazz artist, Tom Braxton, and Grammy award-winning gospel recording artist/producer, Myron Butler, to name a few. Eight of the ten songs on the project were written by Evans. The following year, Pervis joined world-renowned jazz artist, David Murray in Istanbul, Turkey to be featured on the collaborative homage project, Blues for Memo.
Pervis is not only an artist, but a community servant. He earned a Master’s degree in Counseling and has developed a 19-year career in the fields of education and social services, motivating others to achieve their dreams and pursuing social justice for vulnerable populations.
Pervis currently resides in

is an active, recognized leader in his church and community. His daily aim is
to love God, to love people, and to share messages of hope and inspiration
